Cloudberry Multi-Use Pathway Grand Opening!

The grand opening of the first kilometer of the Cloudberry Multi-Use Pathway on Saturday, September 7th was a great success. Volunteers from Kaien Trails served 150 burgers for free to a wide swath of the community, there was live music from local songbirds Alley and Aja, and Chucky's Bike Shop organized a community bike ride along the pathway. There were speeches and awards that tied in with the awards event for the 2024 Trailblazer run, which took place earlier in the day, and then the ribbon was officially cut on the first section of the trail.

Kaien Trails is grateful for the financial support of the Province of British Columbia and the Government of Canada towards the completion of this project, as well as to the City of Prince Rupert for being a willing partner.

Members of the community join Kaien Trails board members for the official ribbon cutting on the first completed section of the Cloudberry Multi-Use Pathway!
