Trail Maintenance Days

Happy volunteers on Rushbrook trail during a work bee
Trail maintenance day on the Rushbrook trail.

Every so often, our trails need a little sprucing up.

We rely on our volunteers to help keep our trails up to par. You don't need to know how to use a chainsaw - just a pair of gloves and a couple of free hours is all you need.

Keep an eye out for work bee events on our social media, or if you are interested in becoming a regular volunteer and being notified of volunteer opportunities, you can fill out this form here.

Join Kaien Trails for a work bee to give the Omineca Trail some much-needed love!

Saturday, April 5th from 10 AM to 2 PM, rain or shine!

Meet at the Dynamite Shack (Wantage Road end of the trail).

We will be: replacing deck boards, trimming some bushes, possible bridge repair, and maybe more.

Dress for the weather, and include sturdy footwear, gloves, and safety glasses if possible.

Bring some simple tools if you have them: hammer, saw, crow bar, prybar, clippers or shears, shovel.

Many hands make light work and it’ll be great to get this lovely trail a little spiffied up before spring really kicks off. Hope to see you all there!
